Angel Massacre is a Black Metal band founded in 2006 by half brothers, Jeremy (Ravndark) Eaves and Jordan (Black Wolf Xul) Kirby. By the joking of our father, to leave a boring family event, go home and make a band. Doubt Black Metal was the genre he envisioned for us, but he was always supportive of our dreams, even when the rest of the family was not.

We created a 4 song demo entitled "Beast of Genocide" and in 2008 we created a full length entitled "Blood of Fallen Angels" with Black Wolf Xul on vocals and bass, Ravndark on guitars and Decimator (Daniel Allen) on drums. We played many shows in Charlotte and the surrounding areas until 2010, when Decimator left the band.

The brothers worked hard to keep the band going, but due to a lack of drummers in the area and life events the band was set in hiatus for years. It was always the dream to return.

In 2019, after many years of persuading, Angel Massacre was resurrected. The decision was made to reboot the 2008 "Blood of Fallen Angels" album due to album quality.

Due to a lack of drummers, Jordan had learned to play drums through the years. Black Wolf moved to drums and became Bedlam. The band recruited bassist Nick (MurMur) LeBlanc and Wayne (Tenebris) Sloop of local band Oculum Dei on rhythm guitar, and Jordan’s wife Roxanne as vocalist. The group re-recorded "Dehumanization", but the band fizzled out within a year.

Jordan then approached Mathis (Bloody) Greene of death metal band Altar Blood about making drum tracks. Surprisingly, Mathis was interested in joining a black metal band — instead he joined on vocals and rhythm guitar. The band was finally a full unit, and we remade the "Blood of Fallen Angels" album in 2020 at Death Mountain Recording.

In 2020 Bedlam left Angel Massacre, moving to Texas, where he joined black metal band Ignis Noctum on drums. RavnDark carried on. The band continued forward doing shows via a drum machine for several years until Eric (Gul) Cagle joined as drummer.

From 2022 to 2024 we wrote and created a new album entitled "Worshipped In Vain". Nicole Eaves took over live rituals as Helheim and management. The band played rigorously through the south east, gaining a reputation in the community as work horses and getting the opportunity to open for legendary bands like Possessed, Incantation, Vader and Nunslaughter.

In November 2024, Bloody tried to overthrow the band and took the remaining member for a hidden side project they had been working on called Aterra.

Blindsided, yet determined, Ravndark started looking to recruit new members. First to join was Jordan (Bedlam), back from Dallas, Texas, to retake vocals as BlackWolfXul. Helheim took over keyboard, ritual and management, and via drum machine — it took us 8 months of hard work, but I’m proud to say Angel Massacre is back.

We just had our first show together opening for death metal legends Deteriorot. We would like to thank Faithless Entertainment for such an amazing opportunity. What a great way to return to performing, opening for such legends in the scene.

Currently the band is back to playing live shows. Viken Tashjian (Impaler), ex-Nemesis, has joined as drummer, in what has been a successful 2025 of touring.

We would like to thank everyone who has made the year a success, and we look forward to what 2026 has in store. We are looking to embark on new journeys, create new music and book more shows throughout the East Coast.
